The Sunrise AI Model Service gives you access to a curated suite of open-source Large Language Models (LLMs), hosted entirely on Swiss sovereign infrastructure via an OpenAI-compatible API. Models are served using vLLM for optimized inference, with support for streamed responses and token-per-minute throughput pricing.

This is the list of AI models we are currently testing and evaluating. Models listed here are not yet generally available, but they are being validated for performance, stability, and cost. Once a model passes our evaluation, it will be promoted to the Active Models list.

The models listed here have been scheduled for decommissioning. Sunrise provides advance notice approximately 20 business days before the decommissioning date by publishing an announcement in Cloud Docs and notifying impacted customers directly. Communications include the expected timeline, recommended replacement models, and migration guidance where applicable, and are included in the monthly AI Platform newsletter shared with opt-in customers.

The models listed here have been permanently decommissioned and are no longer available on the Sunrise Model Service. Requests to these models will return an error. Please use a supported model from the Active Models list.

SUNRISE Model as a Service provides access to open-weights AI models hosted exclusively in Switzerland. Users can evaluate the model catalogue for free and then activate API access through a monthly credit allowance.
